The project includes the establishment of approximately 30 km of 132 kV underground cables and the construction of three new high-voltage substations in Gloslunde, R\u00f8dby, and Femern.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"346\" data-end=\"536\">The expansion is taking place in connection with the Fehmarn Belt Fixed Link and is intended to ensure a robust and future-proof electricity grid that can support the green transition and future energy needs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"538\" data-end=\"660\">Work on the stations commenced in 2023, while the cabling is scheduled to start in 2025.
