Ramboll is among the consulting engineers contributing to the planning of the future road and rail tunnel under the Fehmarnbelt between Fehmarn and mainland Germany. The 2.2 km long tunnel will be an important part of the infrastructure around the Fehmarnbelt link and marks another step in the development of the transport corridor between Denmark and Germany. The project is expected to start in 2026 and brings together strong Danish, German and international competences in a complex construction project in the Baltic Sea.
