Fehmarn Sound and Belt invites you to the opening of the new viewpoint Arrows!!
On this occasion, FB Suppliers would like to host some food and drinks before we go out together for the opening of Pilen. It is not possible to bring your car as the car park is closed on this day.
We have lunch at 11:30 and leave the office at 12:30.
Registration is required so that we can order food and drinks.
Therefore, register no later than Friday 21 February 2025.
Fehmarn Sound and Belt has created a great programme, and it is as follows:
12.30 pm: The tent opens
You can experience:
- What it's like to be an apprentice at Northern Europe's largest construction site
- The new hiking route from Pilen to the Fehmarn exhibition in Rødbyhavn
- The Fehmarnbelt project told by our guides
- Students from Lolland International School show their own model of the Arrow
13.30: Welcome by Mikkel Hemmingsen, CEO of Sund & Bælt
- Speech by Mads Haugbølle Behrendsen, Chairman of Erhvervsskolernes ElevOrganisation
13.50: The arrow will be opened by Mayor Holger Schou Rasmussen, Lolland Municipality, Chairman of Dansk Metal, Claus Jensen, and CEO Mikkel Hemmingsen, Sund & Bælt, as well as apprentices from Femern Link Contractors.
15:00: Thank you for today
The arrow is 217 metres long and ends in a point 24 metres above the ground.
Pilen was designed by ARUP and Per Aarsleff A/S was responsible for the construction of Pilen.
