Wednesday evening was attended by Henriette, Rikke & Anne as TSØ partners in the big handball event “Fælles om Lolland-Falster” in Guldboxen.
The event was organised by Lolland-Falster's two major handball clubs Team Sydhavsøerne and Nykøbing F Håndbold.
It was a historic event, as these two clubs have never collaborated on an event like this before, and you could feel it in the atmosphere!
Over 1000 partners and sponsors gathered for a pre-match event in the MSE Lounge in Nykøbing F hall, where, in addition to enjoying food and drink, we also listened to various speakers who all expressed their gratitude for the great support for the event. Among other things, we had the pleasure of hearing our own chairman Lars Stuckert, who is also chairman of the board of Team Sydhavsøernes, talk about the importance of supporting each other and collaborating across Lolland and Falster.
We will also take this opportunity to congratulate the two sports directors Kenneth Sahlholdt (NFH) and our own partner - and FB Suppliers member, Morten H. Nilsen (TSØ) for the successful event AND for the two great wins that both home teams came away with! Because of course, we're going to round that up in this post too!
Over 2700 audience members witnessed TSØ working like machines - just like the biggest agricultural machines we have down here on the islands! They fought throughout the match and had a constant grip on the neck hairs of Kolding's strong team. This was also evident at half-time, when the score was 18-18. The match was not settled until the very last minutes, when TSØ put themselves ahead by 3 goals in the best possible way. The game ended 36-33 and we all dare to admit here in the office that our necks and hands hurt a bit from cheering and clapping so much! Huge congratulations to Team Sydhavsøerne on their beautiful and historic victory!
After the TSØ-KIF match, all partners and sponsors enjoyed coffee and cake in the MSE Lounge before we were back in the Guldbox to cheer on NFH as they took on Viborg HK. NFH went into the break with a lead of 14-13, but in the second half they completely pulled away and ended up winning the match 35-22. The final score spoke for itself; the match was a (goal) fest without equal, but it never really got exciting in the same way as the TSØ match. Congratulations to NFH on their magnificent victory!
