"Sund & Bælt has initiated the process towards preserving the tunnel element factory at Rødbyhavn. Now the question is who will run the factory when the last element for the Fehmarnbelt tunnel is launched in 2028.

The process to preserve the tunnel element factory in Rødbyhavn once the tunnel is complete is now underway. 48,000 square metres under roof with high ceilings and its own harbour. Fully equipped with overhead cranes on a huge plot of land with no neighbours. Lolland Municipality is delighted, Sund & Bælt is delighted, and future mega construction projects can also begin to rejoice. Because once there's a factory, it has to make something. First, however, there is the detail of passing the new Construction Act, but that looks like a formality - also for the newly elected Danish Parliament"

Have a great day.
