Leca Danmark A/S is a Saint-Gobain-owned company that develops, produces and sells Leca® lightweight clinker - a building material made from Danish clay, which when fired becomes small, porous spheres with a hard surface.

Although Leca® lightweight clinker is a simple product, it can be used for innovative solutions. On its own, the lightweight clinker is just an expanded clay ball, but when combined, the possibilities are endless, whether used as a foundation for a building, under roads or for the development of drainage solutions.
In addition, lightweight clinkers are raw materials for blocks and elements.

Whether it's a large or small project, it's important that the materials are easy to handle, easy to transport and have good properties. Leca® lightweight clinker is the perfect solution.
We've been in the market for more than 80 years, so we know our products and solutions work - and they last.

Whether doing large-scale or small-scale construction projects, in order to make the building process cost-efficient and run more smoothly, building materials need to be sustainable, easy to handle, easy to transport and flexible to work with Leca® LWA or Leca® Blocks are exactly this.

While Leca® LWA (Light Weight Aggregate) is a simple product, our solutions are innovative. Alone, it is one single expanded clay pellet, but combining the pellets into an aggregate, possibilities become numerous - whether it is laying the foundation for construction, building roads and walls, or developing drainage solutions. The simplicity of the product makes it extremely flexible in the construction process. We have been around for a long time, so we know that our products work - and they last.
