The Danish-German Chamber of Commerce is part of the AHK network. The abbreviation AHK stands for Auslandshandelskammern, which translates to chambers of commerce abroad. It is the name of the AHK network, which consists of 130 offices in 90 countries. Around 1,700 employees serve the 45,000 members. The AHK network was created to support German companies that want to do business abroad and to support foreign companies that want to do business in Germany.
For 30 years, the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce has paved the way for co-operation between Danish and German businesses and has been a competent partner in all matters concerning both markets.
Market knowledge and understanding of business culture and language, combined with a broad network and good contacts in the Danish and German business community, enable the Danish-German Chamber of Commerce to find the right approach for companies that are present or considering a presence in the German and Danish markets. The company has its finger on the pulse of market developments in both countries and works closely with professional organisations, authorities, associations and trade fairs. In addition, it helps more than 1,000 companies annually with everything from start-up to advice on their ongoing business in both countries, offering a flexible and professional service tailored to the individual export company.
The approximately 650 members of the Chamber of Commerce are part of the largest Danish-German business network. A strong network in both countries, exclusive events and monthly newsletters are central to the activities of the German-German Chamber of Commerce.
