Within the coming years, one of Denmark's largest data centre projects could become a reality on Lolland.
Lolland Municipality has decided to initiate the planning process for a project where Stender Innovation, in collaboration with an American investor, wishes to build a 328,000 m² data centre near Rødby.
The location has been chosen with a focus on factors including the power supply and future business opportunities in the area – including interaction with the national industrial park and the utilisation of surplus heat.
